Our Motto
Behind the glamour of the beautiful gemstones are the stories that often go untold. At National Facets, we feel that understanding what went into the beads you wear around your neck and the gem on your finger and knowing where it came from, makes it even more memorable and personal.
Being a part of the gems and jewellery industry for over three generations now, we are one of the world's leading creators of responsibly sourced gemstones. Apart from being a tradition and legacy that shaped up year after year in our family, we think it was an outcome of the conscious decision- making we put into it.
Going back in time, we believe that it was always about keeping the craft and the passion around it alive and making what the seasons had taught us, better and more refined. We knew that we couldn't ever take our product, our people and our planet for granted if we wanted to make a difference. So, we made sustainability, our motto.
As a part of the complex industry that we are set up in, we always felt that it was essential to set standards and boundaries for ourselves and the people we work with. Sustainability being the need of the hour, we were one of the first few in our trade who responded positively with our 3P formula.
Our Planet
Mother nature has been graciously kind to us, and with all the harm that has been rendered upon her, we thought a little deliberation could help. So, we made it a point to refrain from any and all malicious mining activities that might occur while extracting raw material
Our People
Without our people, we cannot push the boundaries of the sector that we work in. From artisans and craftsmen to the clients and customers, we have always felt responsible and accountable to the community that we are a part of.
We tried to bring in more integrity and transparency in and around our workspace in terms of our people.
Abiding by Human Rights, we have time and again ensured not to disturb the lives and livelihood of those related to us.
Safety is always a priority at National Facets. We make sure to honour the challenges that our men and women face and make them our own.
Our Product
The red rubies and green emeralds are more than just our products. They are the blood of our artisans and the sweat of the miners.
At National Facets, we have thus developed a strict screening process to check every aspect of a gemstone's making. This ensures that no harm has been done while manufacturing or procuring the gemstones.
With 150 gemstone varieties sourced from around 40 countries, mined mostly by artisanal workmen, it becomes rather difficult to trace the stones' source. We avoid importing raw material from countries that make us concerned not just about the gemstones but also about the people working there.
